Nature provides us with the precious basic ingredient for all our products – Adelholzener mineral water. Our actions are therefore driven by social responsibility, sustainability and environmental awareness. The reasons for this particularly lie in the long and eventful history of Adelholzener Alpenquellen. Would you like to find out more? Please read on for more of an insight.
Social Responsibility is part of our Tradition.
Adelholzener is a company with an unequivocal social orientation. The mineral spring has been owned by the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, Motherhouse Munich, since 1907.
The Congregation is a religious community, in which women have joined together to live according to the example of Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Louise de Marillac. The Sisters’ mission is to serve people in need in the Christian spirit of “love they neighbour”. The Congregation therefore runs hospitals, old people’s homes and nursing homes under its direct control.
The religious community does not receive any funds from church tax. It finances its social welfare projects and establishments itself and through the income generated by its business operations, which include Adelholzener Alpenquellen. The revenues from the sale of Adelholzener beverages are used for social welfare purposes to the extent that they are not needed for investment in Adelholzener Alpenquellen’s business.
