Nature provides us with the precious basic ingredient for all our products – Adelholzener mineral water. Our actions are therefore driven by social responsibility, sustainability and environmental awareness. The reasons for this particularly lies in the long and eventful history of Adelholzener Alpenquellen. Would you like to find out more? Please read on for more of an insight.
Social responsibility is part of our tradition.
Adelholzener is a company with a clear social orientation. Since 1907 the mineral spring has belonged to the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Vincent of Paul, motherhouse Munich.
The Congregation is a religious community in which women have joined together to live according to the example of St. Vincent of Paul and St. Luise of Marillac. The mission of the Sisters is to help people in need in the sense of Christian charity. For this reason, the Congregation runs its own hospitals and nursing homes.
The religious community does not receive any funds from church tax. It finances its social welfare projects and establishments itself and through the income generated by its business operations, which include Adelholzener Alpenquellen. The revenues from the sale of Adelholzener beverages are used for social welfare purposes to the extent that they are not needed for investment in Adelholzener Alpenquellen’s business.
